My network coordinator has suggested I look into this as a way of helping encourage my non verbal 2yr old to feel more comfortable in communicating.
Does anyone have any experiences they could share or weblinks I could investigate to learn more?
Thanks in advance :)

I did a course on this (along with ajs) a couple of years ago - it's interesting stuff.
Have a look at the website and let me know if there's anything else you want to know

I have been researching a lot of information about how den building supports language and communication.
It's fascinating to see how children talk to each other when making and using dens - even when they are getting a bit territorial
I wrote a story on my blog about it last month :D

I have just bought Elizabeth Jarmen's book "A place to talk at my childminders" which I really like. Just waiting to see if I have a space on a course locally.
