Hi All,

I was just wondering just how ofter each of you visit your local childminder drop in centre (if you have access to one)? I have been advised I need to go each week, but at the moment I just don't seem to have the time.

Thanks,

We have two childminder drop in groups a week, I attend one of them as and when I can, I have never been told that I have to go. I have found the group to be a great source of support from fellow childminders we also have our Trio Development Worker attend the group at times to provide some door step training, We also arrange themed activities and invite people in such as the lolly pop man, police etc to talk to the children.

We are supposed to attend if we want to be part of the network.

then they told us the network is being disbanded and something else will pop up instead

I go to ours because the children enjoy it, but it's not an obligation or anything :D

I attend good ones on Mon & Fri and run one on Wed. Not because I have to but because the children have fun and We all support eachother. ( A lot like this forum!)
