After reading some of the horror stories about parents on here I feel so lucky to have a mindee with such a lovely parent. This afternoon she picked her daughter up with Easter eggs for all my children and a bottle of wine and a card for my birthday.

I have had loads of positive comments from her regarding the care I give her daughter (slightly blowing my own trumpet there but why not? ;)) and I thought I would share as it's good to read that there are parents out there who appreciate the work we do.

Think we do forget sometimes that some parents are lovely but its not those that we need the advice about that is why it looks like we are always complaining I guess because its only the mean ones that we do seem to mention

My parent is ok but one minute she is really nice then is very nasty, so I get confused, now I just answer her back and then she gets the message until the next time.
You must feel very pleased with yourself and so you should be.

That's great. I have to say, all of my parents are really good. Even the one I've mentioned who is really rude and abrasive is good about paying, singing my praises and remembering special occasions with gifts (not that the gifts are the important thing).

So yes, the majority are good parents!

I got a lovely surprise yesterday. I was actually paid by both my parents, :laughing: and I got a lovely easter egg from one of my parents:)
