I know that we have a copy of it in free downloads on here but has anyone actually received a copy of it from Ofsted yet either with a new certificate or on its own with a letter of explanation?

I told my network coordinator about the change last week and she didn't even know.

I think if Ofsted change something they should inform us and send new posters.

I got my new poster yesterday with a leaflet explaining about the new companys that were taking over the inspections

My Network Co-ordinator has run some off to give out to those of us who use the childminding drop in.

So if you don't use the drop in or go on this forum and you don't know about it then you are breaking the law - when does the new number come into effect - its just being phased out at the moment as far as I'm aware.

quick question though .....I changed my " complaints policy " to include this new no. 0330 123 1231 but sarah posted a different no for actual complaints rather than for "telling us about your childs childcare "....is it ok just to use this number or should we include the other number as well?

I had my inspection 4 weeks ago and they were so impressed that I had the new number (thanks to the forum). The inspectors told me that that number should be used for everything and that the other one is ongoing for about 6 months. My adviser didn't know, spoke to Ofsted and they said they were just expecting it to filter through and not notify us! Saying that I got my new certificate through today with the poster and new number.
