IM getting very worrided now, i phone ofsted yesterday to tell them ive only just started minding that day (got cert on 18 march 2010) and the man on the phone said thanks for letting them know the ball has started rolling for you inspection, he also said they may just turn up as they now when i mind !! :panic: :panic: :panic: WHAT

Ive got loads of resources i want to buy,ive only minded the baby for 1 day so everythings new to me and her, and i just feel like im gonna let my self down because in worrying that much, i think ill burst in to tears when an inspector contacts me

I am so scared, has an inspector just turned up on your door step without an appointment?

My first inspection after my pre-reg they turned up unannounced but I was on my way out to a toddler group and the lovely ofsted lady said she would come back later

So of course I came home early to make sure everything was how it should be ;)

GOOD LUCK

sorry to say, that Ofsted can turn up unnannouced at any time. we should work each day as if we expect them to.

Your first inspection will always be within 6 months of you starting work and on the whole though, they do try to arrange an appointment time frame with you. obviously they don't want a wasted journey(s).

It all depends on how efficient your area inspectors are being, some areas are running behind schedule.

you will be fine xxx
