I have just started minding today!! so i thought id phone ofsted today and tell them ive only just started minding so my first inspection was about 6mths away from today !!
The man on the phone said i should expect a phone call to arrange my inspection!!! omg i am so scared. god i am not ready at all not got my head around most of it as its my first day...

they rang me not long after i started but took another few months to come out so dont panic :D

So...... when you actually start you have to ring Ofsted and let them know? You cannot just start minding when your cert arrives? They, after all, registered you and know what you are doing!?!?:confused:

You dont need to ring, they will just use the date that your certificate was issued as a guide. They usually do ring before though! Dont panic its usually a good few months!:)

dont panic, it could be a while yet and believe it or not they are human!!!

aww i hpoe so!! the man on the phone said this will start the ball rolling for my inspection and to expect a call. god feel like crying
