does anyone know the correct adult to child ratio's at pre-school
some sessions children aged 2-3yrs only, and another sessions children aged 3-till they go to school.

I think it's listed in appendix 2 of the Eyfs statutory requirements but I can't find my copy :o

I think its four 2-3yrs per adult
and eight 3-5 yrs per adult

Children under 2

1 member of staff to every 3 children
At least 1 member of staff must be at least NVQ level 3 and half of other staff a Level 2 and had specialist baby training

Children aged 2

1 member of staff for every 4 children
At least 1 member with level 3 or above
At least half of other staff level 2 or above

Children aged 3 and over

Between 8am and 4pm if staff member is a qualified teacher:

1 member of staff for every 13 children
At least one other member of staff with level 3 or above

Between 8am and 4pm if no member of staff with QTS

1 member of staff for every 8 children
At least 1 member of staff with level 3 or above
At least half of other staff with level 2 or above
