Just had an email with all the details of this years EYE (http://www.earlyyearseducator.co.uk/cgi-bin/go.pl/events/index.html#) conference. It looks great and would really enhance my studies BUT £353:eek: . How do people afford to go to these unless they are funded?

I don't expect many do go unless they're funded :(
Definitely out of reach of most childminders I would think.

yes, nursery managers I expect with the big chains paying for it. I think lots of local authorities are now paying for EYPS qualified practitioners who join an EYPS network to go. I know our EYPS network members got to go to Penn Green for a conference. I'd love to go there.

I said this when I did that Nursery World conference last year.

No it's not fair! Included in the literature is a list of who it is aimed at. It includes childminders and students:rolleyes: . I really would like to go but it would mean going on my own which I am not quite sure I am brave enough to do. .
