Edited by Pauline - not sure if we should name individual Ofsted inspectors - might be a problem with confidentiality. Hope you understand :)

Good luck with your inspection. But you won't need it, it will be great and you will do really well.
I don't remember my inspector asking much about child protection, but do ask her for ID before she enters your house. That will make a good impression. If you have any policies written show her those, mine didn't want to see them though. Have you done a child protection course or safeguarding children? You may want to show her your certificate/s
oh I'm sure ur right sandra, I have completed all the important courses, just have to dig my certificates out. I have policies, but they're on a flash drive pen as I don't have a pc or printer and I don't have the cash to print them out b 4 2moro. things have progressed soo fast, I only sent my cm1 document to ofsted last month!

Best of luck :) it'll be fine I am sure, and yes ASK FOR ID! looks very good, even at this early stage - of course you'd do it all the while when actually minding though.

Good luck tomorrow!
Depends on the inspector what they want to see... often though they work through the standards and make sure you have a working knowledge of each, so I'd give them a quick read through today :D
