Please keep your fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong and this inspection goes ahead!

I had a phone call today and it was the inspector who came out to do my pre-reg inspection. She was really nice so I feel more relaxed now. The other inspector that was coming out last week is leaving Ofsted so my inspection is being passed to her.

She said she would come on Tuesday at 9.45am and when I go to the nursery at 11.00am would either walk up with me  or do some work on her laptop in the car, depending what stage she is at the time.

I am nervous about the inspection (although not quite as much now I know I have a nice inspector!) but just want to get it out of the way at long last!!

Good luck Cazz, I'm sure you'll be fine.

It's great you've got your pre-reg inspector as she'll be able to see how well you're doing, that's much better than having an inspector you don't know :)

Thanks. My back is very painful - I'm hobbling around like I'm about to give birth! The painkillers ease it for a bit but when they wear off it's agony! I don't like taking tablets so I'm trying not to take more than necessary.

My mindee isn't a big brother yet - mum's due today!! :D

I've got the little one for her today as she wanted a last chance to get some things organised - I could only have him though as my dh is on holiday today (due to my back) so he is helping me with lifting G and crawling around on the floor with him! Explained this to mum and she was happy with it.

Hopefully I will be more mobile by Tuesday - I don't want to have to cancel another inspection!

Good luck for Tuesday. Hope all goes well for you:thumbsup:

I know you said you don't like taking tablets but don't suffer unneccesarily. I know from experience that this can often make things worse:rolleyes:

I think you're right. I realised tonight that if I take the painkillers it means I can move more, but if I don't take them I avoid moving as it hurts so much and then my back just seizes up.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes.

Thanks but the "relax put ur feet up till then" bit made me  No chance!

I'm (supposed to be) getting learning journeys up to date. I discovered that one of them hasn't had an observation in their lj since January - photos on computer just not got round to printing and writing up.

Also, because I've been out of action for the last 3 days due to my back (and been out all day today), the house is in a right state. Dh did try, bless him, but he only did the minimum to keep the home running and cleaning etc took about half the time it takes me so you can imagine what it's like

I think I'm going to be going to bed at midnight and up at 6.00am the next two days just trying to get everything ready :panic:
