Hiya I am due to move to Herts soon and wondered if anyone knows if there is a big difference in the hourly fees that childminders charge around this area? Any help is appreciated.

The best thing to do would be to check the CIS lists for that area.
Some minders do list their charges and this will give you an idea.
Good luck

same as dee said!!
When I move to this area I phoned about 5 people and cheekly told them I was a childminder moving to the area and was after the fees in the area, I made some good friend through it too:laughing: sadly though they have since moved away:(

Thank you guys!
I have moved in now and now have my first 2 mindees (siblings) ready to start! ....how exciting! ;-)
I am just sending my risk assessment off with some pics to Ofsted so hopefully they can tell me whether they are coming out or not, mum is prepared to wait a few weeks so I just hope Ofsted they get their finger out and work quickly! ;-)
