and got good for everything :clapping:

She picked me up on not having signed the daily risk assessment tick lists (I wasn't aware we had to) and not putting timings on the fire practice logs but that was about it. Nice lady, friendly and easy to talk with :)

Well done! I haven't got daily risk assessments signed or times on my fire drills either and nothing said to me - another one of those differences between inspectors me thinks:idea:

Hope you've got the wine open:thumbsup:

How long did your inspection last? (Can you tell I'm due mine at any time? :panic: )

3 hours Cazz

I showed her in, got her to remove shoes (an inspector in socks is far less scary) and then she set up at the kitchen table. I have a kitchen/diner so it's half kitchen and half play room. Baby was asleep when she came. Made her a coffee and then when mindee woke up played in same room for a bit and then just followed his lead, which meant we left her to it where necessary as he was more interested in cement mixer on next doors front drive than her! She followed us into front room at times and asked some general and some specific questions - like "how do you develop skills in spatial awareness and shape" and "what ops do you provide for problem solving" mostly I refered her back to my planning or files :) with a bit of spiel aswell!

It was okay. I did find I was listening to myself talk to the mindee as opposed to being natural but was prob. nerves. She was big on the SEF but then again was late to me as she read it that morning....

Well done When I had my pre reg inspection she said I had to sign my risk assessments but when I asked about my daily tick list she just said to initial it. Its funny how inspectors vary
