I have: policies in order, risk assessments done, learning journals up to date (except one which is missing parent's section but parent too ill to nag - hope they accept that), permissions in files, medical folder up to date, contracts sorted into current and past, planning in files, toy boxes tidied despite best efforts of own children - what am I missing?

Also, that bit parents' sign in NCMA folder about medical treatment - does that cover everything? I have started going over to my own sheets but only with new starters, will look a bit funny if I get others to sign and they are all dated day before the inspection! Am assuming it's okay as it's in the NCMA folder.

Getting a bit wound up I am!

Sounds like you are organised!

If parents are too ill to write something then you can write it for them!

Just make a note - parents say xxx

Good luck! :D

I'm getting in a big panic as well :panic: It's a lovely sunny day, but I'm in the office, writting up some obs (had them on rough bits of paper so having to re-write them).
I've got all the other files ready and I've moved some books into the sunroom by the comfy armchair (our new reading corner).
My husband and kids are really fed-up of me at the moment as I'm like a bear with a sore head and I keep snapping at them to stop touching the CM toys and my husband seems to make more mess than the kids :(

Thanks Sarah, so far I'm dealing with Gran - is she okay to fill forms in and sign on behalf of dad? He's a new starter and has yet to return photo permission form but was only out of hosp Friday...

Good luck ripeberry xx
