I'm wondering as I have no actual qualifications [apart from my own kids] ;)
if doing a childcare course now would do any harm now? and if so which one?
There is nothing really stopping me as I gave my notice into work last week for when my maternity leave finishes next month.!
Or should I just sit tight

Think it's a good idea to get started as you have more time when not minding!

Can you do courses when you don't have children to use for observations? I seem to remember you can't do NVQ ... not sure but definitely worth looking into.
I would give your local CIS a ring tomorrow :D

I suppose it depends on what course you want to do - I agree with you about the nvq

I'm about to start my NVQ 3. My network co-ordinator told me to wait until I'd been minding for a while because it would be much easier. :D
