question are u allowed to look after family children and get paid for it as well as children not related?

hi there, yes you can look after your nephews/neices cousins etc and their parents can get help with childcare costs..... i had my sisters two children for a while and she got 80% of the childcare paid for her by tax credits, you cannot claim for your own children ......

Yes you can!
But I am not sure if Ofsted will count them when they come to inspect... I think you need to be minding children from other families...
Does anyone know for sure? :D

You can mind family children but must have other non family children too.
