Hi
I am in Scotland and i am allowed:
3 pre-school, this includes 1 under age of 12 months
and 3 over pre-school age (after-schoolers) although i do have a variation at the moment for 2 days per week to have 4 pre-schoolers
hope this helps

You need to check with the Care Commission.
Each case is different depending on the size of your house and your experience etc.
You should also check with SCMA / Morton Michel for insurance limits.

I'm in Scotland and our numbers are 6 in total. This is for any children under the age of 16 and include your own kids.
3 under 5's 3 over 5's. Only 1 can be under the age of 1.
