So after a manic half term getting myself prepared and ignoring my children (!) I waited in all Tuesday, all Wednesday and this morning. Then picked up a message from my inspector to say "sorry I know I said I'd come out to you this week but haven't been able to make it. I'll call to rearrange"!
I can't believe it. I've been in a state of anxiety all week and now I still can't relax! Aaaahhhhhhh . . . .
I feel better now I've got that of my chest!

When they came to do an inspection on my partner, it took her 4 weeks from phone call to visit!
By the time she got here we were so relieved we just relaxed and got on with it
try and forget about it for the weekend! :D

Finaly heard back from my inspector, she said she can't do next week...YAY! (extra week to prepare) and said it would be the 9/10 or 12th March, BUT she is on the Safeguarding rota so if anything comes up, she may have to postpone, but if she is not there by 11am, to carry on as normal.
By then my mindee usualy has his nap by 10.30am if we are in the house.
She sounded nice on the phone and seemed happy that I'd attempted the SEF :)
Just hope the weather warms up on inspection week, so we can be out in the garden most of the morning.

my inspector rang at lunchtime. She was so apologetic and sounded really nice. Anyway, she's coming next week so no chance of relaxing this weekend!
Oh well . . . :panic:

Thanks - I did contemplate moving but I guess you can't hide forever!
We're going to some friends this afternoon and taking a couple of bottles of wine so will aim to forget about ofsted for the day! Then tomorrow back to tidying and sorting out my planning for next week.
I just hope she turns up this time. . . .
