On Monday i have ofsted coming out and am having a flap about what the procedure is for refering a child if i think they are being abused etc everything says follow lscb procedure is that that i ring social services for a referal or do i get a professional consultation and they take it from there?

phone OFSTED and ask for their advice as to what you should do. They're supposedly there to help us so I'm sure they won't object. Better than doing the wrong thing

ring your local child protection team that in my area is same number as social services then youd ring ofsted to inform them and dont forget you would also have it in writing hope this helps good luck for monday:)

Hi busygirl :) ive got mine nxt friday what kind of thing have u done to get ready? ive typed up all of my policies and risk assessed all of the rooms and garden equipment, set the toy room up, anything ive missed?? need advice :blush: xx
