i am asking a question for a friend.......she has her first grading on monday what will ofsted go over? will it be the same questions as the pre-reg plus being watched minding the children? thankyou xx

Not really.

Well they will want to check her understanding on certain issues but this will be done more in the way of checking her paperwork and verbally asking questions if anything is not clear. She will have a look at how the EYFS is being executed and ensure the CM has all the relevent permissions/ information on children/ communications with parents etc etc.

There is sooooo much to go through but I can't list it all here. Tell your friend to join the forum and she an have a good nosey around to check she has everything and ask questions of anything in particualr she is not sure of.

Your friend needs to spend tomorrow putting everything together - her risk assessments, policies and procedures, forms and learning journeys...

Make sure everything is signed that needs to be by the parents and everything is up to date.

If she lays it all out on the table when Ofsted come it will save her a lot of work.

I hope she has a good inspection :D
