Hi everyone

Just wanted to say how fantastic this site is, particularly with all the resources, links and advice it offers. But...how do you remember the web addresses? Do you have a book or something?

I started to write them in a book but now it just looks like a muddle and I'm not sure what resources each site offers!!

Any advice appreciated...

On your computer there should be a facility to bookmark favourite web sites, have a look and see.

My favourites is full of all these web sites.

I have a folder under my docs called childminding and in that, I have sub-folders, one of which is marked links and I try to keep them in some semblance of order. Frankly, sometimes, I just start digging!

I load the main ones I use as favouries on my Internet explorer. If I am doing a particular topic and find loads of addresses for it I will usually save them all onto a word document which I can then refer back to at a later date.

I've created a childminding folder on my computer and bookmark all the links I want to save to there.
Sure beats writing everything down :D

My favourites list is getting looooonger by the day :D

I do a combination of all of those - bookmark anything I think I'll use a lot, have a folder for others and if it's all to do with a festival or something I'll copy and paste it

Can't always remember what I've put where though :laughing:

Mine are in a favourites folder, then every so often I copy and paste them into a word document and back it up onto my pen drive just in case I lose the favourites folder!

I'm a bit paranoid after losing everything a few years ago! :eek:

I bookmark everything I see on this site and then try and sort them into subfolders.

But then I get distracted looking at the info on the sites and spend toooo loong on the internet, lol!

i have saved them on my favourites under childminding and have search what im looking for that way

if you got it in a book you could write the wedd address and then put what kind of site it is after it.
