What sort of aprons do you use for painting? Any ideas of the cheapest place to buy them?

My mum in law makes mine. I use them for all sorts from meal times to messy play and painting. They don't have sleeves though. They cost £5 each. If you are interested I will try to post a pic.

Poundland have them in at the moment, by the Easter crafty stuff :) I have some similar wipeclean ones I got from Woolies and also use hubby's old t shirts :)

I got my last lot from Tesco they weren't expensive.
I always make sure they have long sleeves :D

I use C's old t shirts as they are long enough to cover the littlies from top to toe :thumbsup:

That's what we used to have at DS playgroup. :thumbsup:
I have a mixture, ELC plastic long sleeved to fabric tabards from ASDA and a couple of long sleeved fabric ones which my sister made as part of her NNEB over 30 years ago!!

i just use old tops and t shirts! if they get too yukky i just throw them away:blush:

I use my grandads old shirts! :blush: they are really old fashioned and colourful, the little ones all have their favourite ones , i cut the sleeves to suit the childrens arms .i do have 3 "proper " aprons but they wont wearr them!

I got mine from Morrisons and they where a bogof so worked out at £2 each and they wipe clean so even better :D
I have the ikea ones they have sleeves with velcro on so you can adjust the length.

Thanks, I didn't realise so many places sold them so I am glad I asked.
It was old shirts that we were advised to use in senior school. :thumbsup:
