Wish me luck everyone..
Have your fingers crossed for me tomorrow at about 7.15 lol as I have got my ICP exam and I am worried I might fail....
I did ok in the mock - 21 out of 25 but I am scared I won't be able to concentrate tomorrow night, you know how it is sometimes and I do find that some of the questions are very difficult.
I was told that i don't need to pass just as long as I've done the ICP course ofsted are happy but I need to pass to do the L3.
I shall spend tomorrow reading all my childcare books!!! lol:rolleyes:

Good luck sandra, remember to take deep breaths before you begin the exam and remember when answering the questions it's what you would do as a childminder and not a mum ;) they try and trick you like that lol

Gosh leanne!!! :( That's ages!!!! I hope it doesn't take that long. I just wish someone would wave a magic wand and make registering a little bit easier instead of all the waiting around and worrying. :)

Hi everyone,
Your luck might have worked, as even though i'm not sure if i've passed, but a lot of the questions seemed ok. But there were a good 2 or 3 that i had to guess as they was very difficult. But hopefully beofre xmas I will find out - but that, i think, is being a bit too optimistic!!
One of the questions that I got stuck on, if anyone has any idea, was - What would you do with a 3 year old child throwing a tantrum, I wasn't sure if it was = 1. Try and reason with the child or = 2. stay with the child until the tantrum is over - so I put no.2 - to stay with the child. Thinking of safety, you know.:) What do u think?
Love sandra xxxxx
