Are you thinking of the ICP course which is a multiple choice exam at the end?
If so then you are given training and I don't think the exam is awful, my dh did it and apart from a driving test it was the only exam he had ever sat in his life!

harold hill. I was told (and the havering website confirms this) i have to obtain the EYFS pack, study the statutory framework doc then fill out a questionniare. they then sritw back with the date and time of your test which is based on this book but you have to answer things in the context of how you will provide these services. This then forms part of your application to OFSTED.

Hiya,
The test is not hard at all, just common sense really. There was 14 of us at my exam and we all passed.

no it is not part of a course.
Doodles - are you talking about the same test as me? It's not part of a course. How long is it? Do you have to remember alla the goas under each of the 6 stages and all the welfare and legal info?

The requirements are so different in every area, i didnt have to do this.
Good Luck, hope it all goes well
