dont panic just make sure you get everything out ready for them to look through, make sure all ra are upto date and also that your register is ok, apart from that just stay calm and carry on as normal my inspector was lovely i even went on ofsted website and had a look in my area for inspection reports she had done and then looked to what she picked up on most.

Be yourself and don't change your routine or the mindees will pick up on it (or worse, drop you in it!)
Get your paperwork ready, give it the inspector when they arrive and you just carry on as normal with the mindees.
You'll be fine - good luck!

bumping this up for you, there shud be lots of ladies with advice for you xx
As previously said, be yourself.
I had the farm set up when she came and she wanted to watch me play with the children. We then had snack and Lo wanted the car track out. We set it up whilst she was asking me questions, and then we had lunch.
She looked through all my paperwork and she was here for 3 hours.
As long as you have everything signed and dated and out ready then you should be fine.
Good Luck xxx

You'll be fine, just make sure you are up to date with everything and you know your mindees inside and out as I have found that they do like to ask lots of questions about the children and sometimes I was stumped, but she was nice so I felt at ease.
Remember most inspectors are really nice especially if they see that you are trying hard to make your setting better and learning all the time, etc.
You may find that the inspector is more interested in your paperwork than anything else so make sure you have more that you need for example, risk assements for everywhere you go, fire drill records, fridge temp records. Make sure you show her all of your inclusive books and toys and don't forget to sell yourself - if she doesn't look around your home ask her to come and look at things you want her to see... as most inspectors just sit at the table on their laptops and don't move for 2 or 3 hours!
You'll be fine though, just be yourself and remember that she is only human and self - employed just the same as we are x
