Got another mom coming at 1 today with a 3 year old - fill in one space I have left its only for about 20 hours a week - thought it would be good for the 2 year old that started the other week
My 3 year old little girl is leaving next week they are going back to Ireland
I have told everyone that im not going to replace her I have 14 children on my books so think enough is enough
But when it came to it just did not like to say no on the phone haha
Let you know how it goes

I don't think you're mad
A 3 year old is not the same as a baby and as you say could be good company for your 2 year old
Twnty hours a week is not too much and it isn't extra work as you are replacing one who's leaving
You don't have to take them on see what you think when you meet them this afternoon
Good luck

i had 14 children on my books 2 years ago then most of them went on to high school and didn't think it was cool to come to a childminder then when my daughter left primary i stopped dropping off and collecting so lost another 2, now i only have 4 but another baby due to start in september/october and although i would like a little more money i think i have enough work and can't keep up with the paperwork as it is.
good luck though angel

I've got 12 kids on my books and still have room for a full-time during the day but I'd even jump at the chance of another part-timer. I'm never over numbers, just really busy, mostly after school. I prefer being busy because I actually get more accomplished and the kids keep each other entertained (when they're not squabbling). And let's face it, I love the money, be lying if I said I didn't!:littleangel:
So no, I don't think you're crazy cos I'd do it myself. Ummmm, well, that's not much of a recommendation, really because I've heard whispers about my own sanity lately...:jump for joy:

Hi Debbie
Well the appointment was for 1
She did not show
I waited an hour when I got back I had a message on phone
She said she could not find my house which I found hard to believe because she only lives 2 roads away
She was moody and not happy but said they had started out late making them late for appointment ( could have called to tell me I think )
I have since called back and left a message but nothing
Angel xx
not a good start
shouldn't think you'll want to work with her even if she does show
right frozen food to put away must get off my butt and do it before it all defrosts

How rude. Did she not have a mobile on her to give you a quick ring to say I'm on your street, can you pop your head out the door so I can find you?
Ah well. Hope it gets sorted to your satisfaction.
