Here's a really basic question. I have a 5 year old who is in full time school (she turned 5 in November), do I do obs on her like the younger ones?

While children are still in reception class you need to do observations, assessments and planning following the Eyfs.

However, you hardly see the child and most of the obs etc are going to be done by school.

with older children I let them take ownership of their learning journey, adding their own pictures, comments, photos from home and things they want to put in from here etc
