with all the snow we have had 2 day an mindees mummys havin 2 work.
Mindee 5yrs mum has just rung me 2 say she is leavin work at 12 but wil have 2 walk 2 pick dd up from nursery an then ds from me we're not just talkin a 5 min walk we're talkin at least 2 hrs an the snow is still fallin....
Nothin i can do 2 help either my car got abbanded at nursery this mornin an even so i wont drive in this weather....
Do I refund unused hrs???

I don't refund unused hours because of snow because they will still be getting paid for it and you are available for work.

poor mum, its not nice, perhaps she'll not go to work tomorrow to make up for it! I would still charge like already said, just one of those things, perhaps have a nice hot cuppa waiting for her and a biscuit :D

If you start offering refunds they might expect it in the future?

Nursery shut 2moro for her dd, shes not said anythin yet bout ds comin 2 me. Will txt her lata her car is stil at work so not sure if she wil get there.
Snow stopped for now but more forecast.

I would still charge and would not refund, like someone said, you do it once and you leave yourself wide open for the future x
I would still charge full fee, if not your loosing out just because mum is collecting early. She may do this all the time if you start.

As she already paid her fees on the monday, i didnt say anything to her an didnt have child all week her choice as couldnt get him 2 me safely even thou I was open.
Just collected mindeee today all back to normal an not mentioned fees so all good xx
