i am a registered childminder and i have two daughters in the pre school age group now one of them is under 1 but my sister in law wants me to have her son one day a week and he is under 1 now my mother said she would have my daugher so i can have him can i do this?

so confused about it all!

i dont think you can as your own children are already taken off your numbers have a look on your registration cer i have a 3 yr old n mine says only 3 children under 8 ,of these no more than 2 may be in the early yrs age group, and of these not more than 1 may be under 1 im sure someone will be here soon to answer your question better than me x

your girl will be in your numbers even if she not with you. you would need to ring ofsted for a variation hun .. they will prob give it to you as it only 1 day.

Your Children under 8 are included in your number (they knock amount can care for off to amount of under 8's you have yourself - i have 1 under 8 so can only care for 5 children under 8)
