If i had spilt red wine on my cream sofa, would my insurance cover me for a new suite?

yes if you have got new for old accidental cover... and if its says it will replace the full suite and not just item ruined.

Like someone has already said it depends on if you have extended your policy to cover accidental damage BUT like someone else has said I am pretty certain that they will send someone to try and remove the stain.
