Sorry for long thread!

Ive been registered since June 09 and been minding since July 09. I had a phone call in August from ofsted asking me if i was minding yet. They took all the details and said somone would phone in a few months.

At the begining of Oct 09 i had a phone call from ofsted asking the same question, so i gave them all the details and got told that she will phone me in 2 weeks to arrange my inspection.

I phoned them today to say i hadnt heard anything and that i was worried as i wouldnt be working most of Dec and Jan as mindees on hols dec and my hubbys working xmas so i will be taking hols in Jan.

I said that i was worried that they wouldnt beable to do my inspection in Dec/Jan as i wont be working and then my 6 months will be up. The lady on the phone said she would get someone to phone me back.

Just had a call, the lady said she had been asked to phone me but wouldnt be dealing with my inspection - however it said on my file that my inspection has been defered? i asked her why, she said i dont know but dont worry someone will phone you soon!

So now im wondering why its been defered and if i should phone back and ask why? what do you think or should i just leave it?

Don't worry. It looks like they have it on record that you will not be working for the next few months and they will call you Feb. They are so busy and behind on inspections you are not a priority. Relax.
