I have just had an enquiry for a baby that hasnt been born yet but will be 4 weeks old when she/he is my care.

Does anyone know if NCMA insurance covers us to care for a baby at such a young age?

Wow - thats gonna be a little one. Is it a permanent fixture or just a one off - not that I think it makes any difference, just being nosey!

I hope NCMA insurance covers us for a 4 week old baby because the first child I ever minded was a 4 week old baby back in Dec 2007

The age of the child doesn't matter, so NCMA's insurance will deffinately cover you. They do advise however, that you do not enter into a contract prior to the birth of the baby, so you shouldn't make any firm agreements, ie sign contracts or take any payment until the lo is born.

Good luck
