I was just wondering if it was compulsory to have a basic food hygiene course? I'm going to do the one online, just so I have it, and i've read somewhere about environmental health, do i need to register with them and how do i contact them?

I phoned my local county council and they put me in touch with the enviromental health depertment. Im sure the online course is fine my inspector did like the fact I had done a food hygine course though.
