I would say yes to that one. I use either paper towels or have kitchen roll in the bathroom so the children can use that and throw it away.......saves all that washing!

I have lots of cheap flannels from ASDA - about 20p each. One use and in a bin for washing.

Might use kitchen roll in hols next time as with 4 older kids it made a lot of washing

I have small guest towels, one for each child. They each have a hook with their picture and name above it. I change them once a week unless there is a reason to change more frequently. Ofsted were quite happy. I got the towels in poundland a few years ago in packs of 2, so 50p each and I bought 12.

I have hand towels for all too that hang in the bathroom with face flannels for my little ones that get used at mealtimes then washed.

I have clean towels out each day, Ofsted questioned why I changed them daily so I presume they are happy with changing weekly or when needed.
mine get done daily due to having different children constantly and some share pegs.

What do you usually do? Do you not have separate towels now?

I would say just do what you do now. As long as it works for you & is within regulations/recommendations don't change it for the sake of your inspection.

If you're not doing what you should, then change to something that you know you will stick to in future. If having lots of towels doesn't work for you, maybe use paper towels.

I use face flannels as hand towels and each child has their own colour, there is a list with name/photo and colour block to help them (and me) remember which belongs to whom, again I was them as frequently as needed, not usually every day though!

Yes you do - I removed all of mine a long time ago (14 children in the week and not enough space) and just use the anti bacterial gel

I was told by Mrs Ofsted that I should - so I bought a huge paper roll from Wilkinsons for about £3 - it should last me ages.
