I'm probably teaching my grandmother to suck eggs here but I just thought I pass on the names of some Scrap Stores and Play Resource Centres in the north west - well more in Cheshire really together with their phone no's
Wrexham Play Associaation 01978 661818 (- I know not in Cheshire)
Grumpy's Manchester 0161 223 9730 (- I've been here lots but yrs ago)
Wirral Play Association 0151 650 0030 ( was it referred to in thread ystd)
Crewe & Nantwich
Play association 01270 588688 ( my closest)
Has anyone been to any of these before - Grumpy used to be brill and I believe still is.

Wirral Play Council that one was me who mentioned it the other day. First time I had been. It's not big and it's not flash but it is cheap :clapping:
I believe you can join for an annual fee (not sure of the criteria) I haven't joined as my friend runs the local pre-school and let me use her card.

They are huge warehouses where you can buy loads of art materials and unusual scrap for art really cheaply. Its Brill. Grumpy in Manchester charge childminders £10.00 to join. I need to ring Crewe and Nantwich because I can't find anything on the net about them.
