I am apply for a variation. I have completed the form, now all it needs is a signature.

Do I have to print out the form, sign it, scan it then send it ,or can I just attach a scanned copy of my signature to my email.

yes that is fine.
When I applied for mine I was unable to scan so took a photo & attached to to my form, Ofsted was fine with that, just took them a long time to tell if it had been granted

just done this myself last week,
no you don't need to sign it via internet.

I am interested to know how long this will take ?

I am a week into the process, I only required a variation of 2 hours on a wednesday for an extra 6 year old.

Is it the pro forma form you filled in? If so it doesn't need a signature, you can just type your name.

Was told it will take about 12 weeks as they are very behind.

I have just got one, it took 2 weeks from sending the email. Although they didn't ring me. I rang to check up on it and it had already been applied to my file they just hadn't sent out the certificate.
