If you only do childminding on the childcare register, e.g over 5's, do you still have to do a SEF?

This question is not for me, but a friend who has just started minding.

The Sef covers ages 0 - the end of the Eyfs (end of reception year).

If you look after children in Year 1 up, you do not need to do the SEF.

You will not be graded for the Eyfs at inspection either. I think your friend needs to speak to Ofsted :D
