Hi all,
Just after some opinions please. A friend of mine take her mindees out in her mini convertible (roof down) would you?

I don't think I would without permission. If parents are happy then I suppose it is ok, but personally I would not be happy for my children to be out in one. Don't know why really, I'm such a worrier I would be anxious incase they were involved in an accident.:D

I would also ask for permission from parents for older children, but would not take babies in a convertible. HTH:D

Does it have a roll bar?

I would....the kids would LOVE it! As long as they are strapped in as normal I wouldn't hesitate (obviously I would get permissions sorted first!)
without a roll bar then no i wouldn't, i wouldn't be happy for their heads to have no protection should the car roll :panic:

All new convertibles, the rear head rests are reinforced, some have automatic roll bars that pop up from behind, and their windscreen frames are all strengthened to act as a frontal roll bar,
Only know all this as we are looking at a convertible at the moment

My mindee came in a convertible once and she was only 10 months. i thought it was excessive but what could you do. Its not illegal as far as I know!!
