I've had an enquiry for after school care.
He will turn 4 in October and goes to a private school full time.
Does this mean I can count him as my over 5 group after his birthday or do i have to wait until next september when he will become a rising 5.
What I mean is are they counted as 4/5 yr old schoolies once they turn 4 and do the full 10 sessions or do we have to wait until its they school year that they will turn 5.
Does anyone understand me or have i rambled??????????

Usually when they start full time school they are considered in the over 5 range, but they are normally 4 already.
So, as he not 4 until October I don't know for certain! Perhaps phone Ofsted to clarify.
How did it go today?
xx
its when they are full time in school.
My son was 4 in feb and was in nursery mornings. Sept 16th he attends hald days and 3/4 days but its not til 17th when he is there full time full week that he is counted as 5.

Yes it does make sense as its how i thought but wanted to make sure as he will obviously still be 3 when the school year starts. Luckily doesn't matter to me as I have a baby startign in october and just wanted to clarify what vacancies I would still have left.
