hi
has anyone made a comments sheet for parents to use after they have looked at their child's learning journals???? i'm completely stumped other than 'please write down your comments here' !!!!!!! which is very boring - are there any specific things to ask to guage their opinion on the work their child and i do together???? am eyfs brain logged at the mo .....:idea:

Afraid mine is just a boring sheet with date sent home, comments by parents (not that many bother), date returned!!!!!!!:blush: but at least it shows Ofsted I am making the effort!!!!!!!!!1

i mentioned it to daddy day care too last week as he wanted to do a northants meet up....
said i didnt mind standing there with a childmindingforum sign!!!!!!

Andrea, thats lovely, I only have a space for parents comments which never happens! This looks like it will encourage parents to make comments, have saved it too, thankyou for sharing:)

That is great thanks . . . hope to be signing my first under 5 in a weeks time (they are on holiday now) . . . only had 5 to 9 during the holidays . . . so much paperwork, I am sure I am going to forget something crucial :blush:

I have a "parents comments" box at the bottom of each Observation sheet.
Your Learning journey sheet is a lovely review tool. Many thanks for sharing. :thumbsup:
