Hello all!

probably silly question but...

I got info this morning about how to complete my SEF.

I thought ofsted only came to inspect after you had been up and running for 6 months?

does sending my sef info (was a letter about logins etc) mean they are wanting to inspect already?! (I've only been reged a matter of weeks with no mindees!)

...or is this standard for them to send out this sef info after you've newly reged?

thanks xx

dont worry they send it to all cm's its a live document so you can add and change it whenever you want, it just helps to get you prepared x

Hiya Sam (and thanks all for the replys - phew!! (breathing a slight sigh of relief as didn't realise they were sent out automatically!!)

I got a letter in the post which had details of how to complete my sef by going online to (and excuse my non technical knowledge of what it is called - rubbish with internet!) an ofsted portal.

The letter also gave me a password to use so I can go / come back to the sef to complete as I go.

I funnily enough got sent two copies of the same letter / password so think that is just an admin error!!

I would def start it before OFSTED come again, they told me it helps with the time inspect you, mine was half done and she told me to print it off and came the night before to pick it up and read through it
a friend recently had her inspection....(last week) and they only graded her satisfactory because she hadnt even looked at hers :(
