hey guys, just had my inspection this morning and got outstanding in all areas !!!!!!!!!!!!:clapping: I am so happy, all the hard work has paid off, my inspector was lovely and said she had never graded a childminders 1st inspection as outstanding, but that i was working to such a high standard and had so much evidence of everything that i was def an outstanding!! Can't wait to get my report now. Big thanks to this forum though as i got so many ideas from here, esp the idea of sending a book to school when they first start with info about that child, inspector loved it and said it was one of the best bits of evidence of working in partnership with others that shehad seen. Wow thats fantastic, I may have to pick your brains.... seems to me that it is all the recently started childminders who are getting all the good grades, the ones like me who have been doing the job for 30yrs are the ones that are finding all this paperwork a problem... maybe you young ones will have to help us old timers out!!!:panic:
