Just had the phone call!

Really not prepared at all.

Paperwork not too bad really, just not enough observations, evidence and planning.

There's loads of other things that I keep thinking of - havent got towels for each child.

I only mind an 18month old and a 25month old.
I just have a horrible feeling about it and am just dreading an unsatisfactory!

Going to have a quick read through inspection tips and see what best I can do before the morning.

Its so annoying, because I love the children and know they and the parents are happy - but it just all depends on what she says tomorrow.

Already got off on a wrong foot! I asked for a variation for 4 under 5's a while ago to cover for another childminders holiday and sickness. - there's only 2 of us here and she didnt want to use a PDN. OFSTED say didnt need a variation, just need to call on the day to say Ihad one extra.
She'sjust said thatas not true as its a planned thing, the mother can plan something else! - erm , there is nothing else! She said she'll have to discuss it with me when she gets here.

God, I really panicking and shaking now!
Why do they do this to us!

Right, better get knowledged up!

You will be ok! You really will. So try not to worry too much, though easier said than done I know.
I am sure you will do great!

Breathe!!

Do you have it in writing about the variation request and Ofsted's answer? that would help...

If you don't, just explain what happened, not a lot else you can do.

Good luck with the rest of it! :D

Be firm and send hubby out for some anti bacterial gel for the bathroom and kitchen then there isn't a need for towels!

Thanks girls, dont know what I'd do without this site!

Thanks for the phone call Flora - you are a star!

feeling a bit better about paperwork - found some more observations I'd written and not printed off, so that was a bonus!

Cleaned round - even the loo, yes Flora! Put paper towels and wipes in loo, thats that one fixed!

Still worried, but not as worried about an unsatisfactory now!

Fingers crossed!
