I have just had a phone call from Ofsted to say my variation for 2 under ones is granted (i wanted it for 6 weeks) Also said i can keep this so i won't need to apply again if i have 2 under ones in the future

Anyone one else had this

Lucky you. I have had countless Variations for a few weeks for 2 under ones and they won't put it on my cert perminantly. They say they won't do it you have to apply for each one when required

It will be very handy

Well done Angela, how quickly did it happen and what info did you have to provide?

I have called Oftsed today to ask for an urgent variation for 4 under 5's. Someone was supposed to be calling me back. (On another thread!)

I posted the letter last Thursday

I put the number and ages of children, times i wanted the extra place for,

Then added how i would manage the extra one with our routine and included that i have plenty of space, equipment, also saying what; like double buggy, 3booster seats and cots bedding

I also said the parents involved are happy with this request

Good luck with your request Julia

Thanks Angela

I only have 2 part time over 8's on my books at the moment and 2 other over 8's in the holidays at various times, 2 of the under 5s are my own!!!

Just worried that I haven't had my first inspection yet and that they might want to come out straight away. To be honest I have only done a little of the EYFS on my own girls as I haven't had to IYSWIM?

Thanks for your advice, I'll let you know if they call tomorrow

Be aware that they will drop it if you have your cert changed again but email them and another will be sent showing the 2 under 2's
