Has anyone had an afternoon inspection? I phoned ofsted as my mori=ning baby is sick this week and she said well if i'm not there by 230 then i won't be coming. So does that mean she will be here on the school run and after school, if so i am looking after an 8yr old after school for a childminder who is on holiday so, what do i do with her. I know this sounds bad but mum said she like club penguin on the pc and watching tv. Do I just set her up on the laptop?

My son is a nightmare at the moment behaviour wise showing off to others. Would I be bad if he went to a friends. Would ofsted see this as not good. I just could do without his sillyness. he winds up my daughter (2) and then he and my mindee (2) go stupid and fight my daughter who screams the house down!

Do whatever is necessary to get through the inspection.

If your life will be less stressful without him then send him on a play date!

Dp had an afternoon inspection, but then he only works with the after schoolers. :D

If you think your ds will be disruptive then follow Sarah's advice.

There's no point if you think you're going to be more stressed if he's around.

Good luck
