Hi
I have been minding since jan 2009 and due an inspection but i currently have no EYFS children (and dont have any lined up!) I have 5 children i mind (at different times!) before and after school so they are 5+. My question really is what happens with my inspection? I've hear they visit and you only get a satisfactory???
Has this happened to anyone?

Take off the EYFS Register and you will be inspected on the Voluntary and Compulsory registers only

when ofsted ring say you are on holiday for a few weeks and will let them know when your back,,, by then you might have under 5's on your books unless you dont want to and then do as Debbie said and change your register hun x good luck

Hi,
Thanks for that. They phone a few weeks ago and i was just about to go on hols so they know i am back. I do want a EYFS child but i've only had a enquiry (and they started) for a full timer. It was too much for me full time with my own LO's so i'm looking/ hoping for a part timer. So i do want a EYFS part timer but there just arent that many about!!
Hopefully they'll hold off a bit!!

They didn't come out to me as I didn't have any EYFS children on the books.

Hopefully they will do the same for me and give me a chance to get a part time EYFS!!!
Fingers crossed!
Thanks

ok have a friends child for the day ofsted come lol
but you should do EYFS on your own LO's so if you have no no children or paper work you can demonstrate your policies and procedures on your own children, it just shows ofsted if IF you had children on the EYFS age group, THIS ,,, is how you would do it,,, eg eg eg etc
did that make sence?
