I started just using my own name but have been thinking for a while about having a business name, do you have to register it with someone?

I use abusiness name as i find it stands out more than just your name iyswim but everyone is different, you dont have to register it anyway I dont think unless you want the exclusive rights to it then you have to register it with business house which costs money and chances are someone willalreadyhave it officiallyanyway i would think unless its unique

i have a business name of incy wincy's with a little logo, its used on all of my paperwork etc and just stands out and looks professional

I decided to go for a business name together with a logo...(as you can see)

I have it on all my paperwork, advertisements, my homepage, my bags from brillminder, my clothes from amaranth...
I like it that way as everything is tied in and to me it looks very professional that way

Yes I use one too and a logo and its on everything too.

I use business names and have a lovely little logo that was created for me by my sister's boyfriend. It looks very professional.
