We are thinking of having a conservatory built - I would not use it for the mindee's but just wondered if anyone could help me as I'm not sure when I need to inform Ofsted - before, during or after it has been built and would I have to submit any paperwork to them or is a phone call enough?

Thanks very much

You would have to Risk assess it and as for informing OFSTED i'm not entirely sure:)
If it were me, i would give them a buzz to be on the safe side, they would let you know if your call was necessary:)

Always let them know about any changes and they will make a note on your file.

Then send a risk assessment when it's finished. I sent photos of mine as well.

If they want to they can come and visit to check it out.

Hth :D

I did when we had a new roof put on as there was scaffolding at the front of the house so obviously needed risk assessing. They were fine with it.
