hi, can any one help me please?

i received my registeration certificate on saturday, and on it it says i may care for no more than 3 children under 8 years; of these not more than 1 may be in the early years age group and of these not more than 1 may be under 1 year at any one time. Does this include my own children, who are all under 8 and aged 5, 3, and 2? On my pre registeration visit from ofsted the lady who came out said she would recommend me for the maximum of 6 children, including my 3 boys which does leave 3 spaces.

any advice would be welcome. thanks

No these are the total of minded children you can have. Your own have already be taken away from the total of 6 under 8.

hope this helps

The others are right your children are not included in the numbers.

So you are able to care for 2 school age (under 8) children and 1 child under 5 (which can be a baby under 1 or a 1-4 year old) in addition to your own 3 boys. Which makes the full 6 that you are able to care for.
