did you get rid of them ? as I understand it is a hazzard for yoru children, although I love my roses

No, just risk assess your garden and keep the little ones away, you can show older ones who understand the prickles and explain not to touch.
Show them how pretty they are BUT dont touch,cos they got nasty thorns that hurt!
I dont want my Mindees in a clinical environment.

I have lots of prickly plants, all risk assessed and children learn quickly.

Just planted a climbing rose. I see it as part of the learning process....they will soon learn roses have thorns and not to touch
