I am now v. nervous as i got a phone call from Ofsted today asking about what days I have children and their ages etc. They said that an inspector would contact me for my inpsection in the next 2 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:panic:
I only registered on March 2nd and was estimating my inspection to happen between July and September. I still have loads of bits to do - finish off my outings and children risk assessments, get my 'choosing board' finished, I haven't even started my SEF which I know is the most important thing. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Has anyone else had this phone call and how long did it take from the phone call to the inspection?

Thank you this site is amazing, I've learnt so much already - and probably tripled my paperwork workload lol!!!!

I'm still waiting for mine I registered in Dec and have put in a variation request and a change in certificate for my DD turning 8 and STILL Waiting. I would have thought they would have triggered an inspection.

I was inspected really fast, had only had 1 mindee for 4 weeks, got a phone call after 3 weeks of minding and she came to inspect me 2 days later! I had been told at pre-reg it would be between 5-7 months after registration.

Now I'm really scared!!! :eek:

At least you've got plenty of notice. My inspections have always been a couple of days after the phone call.

Oh my goodness me.... that is not good! I was registered before you which means Ofsted could call any time now! Arrrggghhh, I am sooooo not ready for my inspection :eek:

I had my children 8 days when i got the call to say they were coming in 24 hrs time.
So I personaly am not suprised!!:panic: !!
